Your Character is the main protagonist and playable character in Eternal City.
You have lived in the Garden since before you can remember, working under Bezoar's harsh guidance. Eventually, you became old enough to start to question your life in the Garden and to keep track of the seasons as they pass. Seven years after you begin to track the seasons, you are injured in an attempted escape from the Garden, but a strange Entity saves you.
You have several possible skin tones, eye colors, and hair colors. All of them change as you get older.
As a child working in the Garden, you wear a brown sleeveless shift dress tied with rope. As a teenager, you continue wearing a sleeveless brown dress but add a beige wrap tied with rope at your right shoulder.
After becoming an apprentice Cager, you take a traditional Cager tattoo on your right arm. You also begin to wear a tan sleeve shirt and green trousers, with a reddish-brown leather harness with string and wood toggles.
In a vision that the Entity shows you of yourself as an adult, you wear form-fitting trousers and a high-necked, sleeveless tunic. Over it, you have a multi-layered belt with a pocket pouch. You also wear a long blue and green stole or shawl over your left shoulder and tucked into your belt.
Another vision shows you yourself as an adult (or possibly a being like the Entity) named No One. As No One, you a brown tunic and pants. The tunic has multiple closure off to the left side (similar to a cheongsam). Rather than your blue and green stole, you wear two separate patterned stoles over your right shoulder. Over your tunic, you have a belt of several laters, and some sort of luminescent beading or pouch. You also wear silver-white fingerless gloves and a very thick cuff bracelet on your right wrist. In this form, your eyes glow electric blue and purple, and it is unclear if this is a version of you or a being assuming your shape to communicate.
Your personality differs dramatically depending on character choices.

Bezoar is your teacher and overseer. He treats you harshly, overworking you and berating you for perceived underperformance in your job. In spite of this, he seems to feel entitled to your affection, and at one point he accuses you of being ungrateful.
You have known Page since you were both very young. Depending on player choices, you either defend him from Violet's bullying or join in teasing him. He seems to be attached to your character, bringing you water after the Caretakers beat you.
You have known Violet since you were both very young. Depending on player choices, you either participate in her bullying of Page or side with him against her.
You first meet Cinder after Bezoar brings him to work at the Garden, when the two of you are young teens. Cinder takes an immediate interest in your character, which you can return or ignore. When the two of you are older, he is one of your love interests.
The Entity has a bond of some sort with you. Depending on player choices, you can try to deepen this connection or try to separate yourself from the Entity as much as possible. Regardless of how much you embrace your powers, the Entity does not seem to have human emotions and its relationship with you is often volatile and unpredictable.
It is your choice whether or not Mudboy escapes from the Garden.
- Three appearances can be seen as "figments" in a vision by the MC. Which ones depend on the appearance chosen for Your Character.
