Episode 2[]

Hilde Peterson[]

Hilde is a native of Norway and is in her mid-fifties. She is one of the Tromstad survivors. Prior to the plague, she worked as a "government bureaucrat" in Tromstad, but she now oversees the group's food supply.

Dag Larsen[]

Dag is a local man in his seventies. He is one of the Tromstad survivors. He runs the radio, sending out broadcasts about the group's location and listening for radio chatter from other survivors. He is a smoker.

In Episode 9, it is mentioned that he was diagnosed with lung cancer before The Collapse and the doctors gave him a year to live. Because of this, he decides to stay in Tromstad and hopes to contact other survivors instead of traveling with the rest of the group to the Seed Vault. In Episode 10, you learn that his health worsened which is why two of the survivors who followed his messages decided to stay with him and continue his work after he's gone.

Sophia Torres[]

Sophia is a Brazilian lawyer who was on vacation in Norway when the plague occurred. She is one of the Tromstad survivors. She speaks several languages—including French, Italian, and Portuguese—but not English or Norwegian. By Episode 10, she and Marco have begun a romantic relationship and are living together. In Episode 11, they announce Sophia's pregnancy.

Marco Bianchi[]

Marco is an Italian man in his forties who was in Stavanger on business. He is one of the Tromstad survivors. In addition to his native Italian, he is trying to learn English, Norwegian, and Portuguese. You suspect he wants to learn Portuguese to impress Sophia, in whom he seems to have a romantic interest. By Episode 10, he and Sophia have begun a romantic relationship and are living together. In Episode 11, they announce Sophia's pregnancy.

He is one of the survivors who followed Dag's radio messages and join you in this episode. He tells you that two of the survivors in his group decided to stay at the church with Dag after his health worsened because they didn't want him to be alone during the little time he has left and because they want to continue his work after he's gone.
