Edge of Extinction Characters

• Main Character: She/he is one of the main protagonist of the show. You play as her/him and control her/his actions.
• Husky: She is the husky who helps save you from a bear attack. After the bear has been scared off, she leads you to the cellar where she has been living. You end up adopting her and take her with you to find the other survivors in Tromstad. You can choose whether to keep her name of Skadi or customize it to something else.
• David: He is potentially the first survivor you meet, being one of the Tromstad survivors. He catches you following members of the group and decides to take you to see Grace. If you don't meet him first, Pavel and Anna will meet you instead. David is originally from Israel but moved to Norway to work on oil rigs in the North Sea. He dies in Episode 6.
• Joseph Mboya: He is one of the Tromstad survivors. He grew up in Senegal before going to France for his graduate degree in genetics and eventually moving to Norway to take a research position at Stavanger University. Although his team tried to find a cure for the plague, they all fell victim to it before they finished their research, and only Joseph survived. Eventually, Grace found him and they banded together.
• Pavel Tatarov: He is Russian and one of the Tromstad survivors. He was in Norway helping his wife, Anna, train for the Olympic biathlon. If you don't meet David first, he and his wife meet you and bring you to Grace and the group. In can die in Episode 7 depending on your choices.
• Anna: She is one of the Tromstad survivors and was an Olympic biathlete in Norway for training. She is married to Pavel.
• Grace: She is an American and the de facto leader of the Tromstad survivors, although she considers the group to be more of a democracy. She is ex-military, giving her her practicality and leadership abilities. She is tough and says that anyone who doesn't earn their keep will be thrown out.
• Louis: He is French and speaks minimal (if any) English. He is one of the Tromstad survivors and plays the guitar. He dies in Episode 4.
• Mari: She is the youngest member of the Tromstad survivors, and you estimate that she is probably still in her teens. She is also about eight months pregnant at the time you meet her. Joseph says that he suspects she is suffering from depression as a result of everything she has gone through, but that no one in their group knows what medication might help her, or even if she would take it when it might harm the baby.
• Stig: He serves as an antagonist to the Tromstad survivors. He is first mentioned in Episode 5 and makes his first appearance in Episode 6. In Episode 7, you have the chance to either kill him or capture him.
• Char Jackson: Char is a botanist who was working at the Svalbard Research Institute when the Collapse happened. She joins the survivors in Episode 10.
